First of all I want the world to know that I have been continually astonished and delighted to discover how enthusiastic and encouraging and all-around helpful the commissioner of this fic, alcyone, has been throughout the long drawn-out often painful process that is writing these epic (anything over about 2.5K is epic to me :-) fics.
The co-authorship is well-deserved, not only for the crucial words actually written (including the ball scene and the entire ending) but also for supplying all sorts of details and doing research and basically being available for me to bounce all sorts of ideas of off.
